The guitar virtuoso Raoul Björkenheim founded in 2010 a quartet that combines rhythms från world music, rock and jazz to a colourfull world of timbre. Ecstasy consists of interesting musicians from two generations, and these musicians have through the years refined their dialogue. They create both impressive improvisations and fluent compositions. The quartet brings down the house through its energy and spontaneous appearance.
”Out Of The Blue” is Ecstasy’s second album and released by Cuneiform Records in New York during the fall of 2015.
