Martin Kollerup Sørensen Trio is a Danish/Swedish trio. The music is mainly written by Martin Kollerup Sørensen and is inspired by composers from very different styles of music like post-bebop, funk, scandinavian jazz and pop. The tunes have a wide range of expressions, from groove, time and energi, to soft and sensitive ballads.
The sound of the trio is a beautiful blend of classical jazz piano trio sound and a more fusion oriented sound.
